  1. Help,   does anyone know an "easy" way to provide access to AppleTalk 
  2. connected printers for users of PC's on ethernet (using the packet driven 
  3. WInsock)  Anyway to get LPR to work?
  4.

  23. As yet I have not been able to get my Winsock Apps. to run in a WFW 3.11 
  24. environment.  I have modified the PROTOCOL.INI file to include a [pktdrv] 
  25. section, and the appropriate Bindings=  statement.
  26.  
  27. I load the DIS_PKT9.DOS driver in config.sys
  28.  
  29. When I boot everything runs on screen as per normal, and the WINPKT reports 
  30. that it is using the packet driver at vector 60, but alas no Winsock Apps will 
  31. run.  The WFW stuff does however work.
  32.  
  33. -Can anyone help me troubleshoot this?  Can someone with a similar setup 
  34. please send me their CONFIG.SYS, AUTOEXEC.BAT, and PROTOCOL.INI files.

  52. Has anyone succedded in getting a hold of the 4-disk demo-installation of
  53. Chamelian from ftp.netmanage?  The FTP of these 4 disks would take about 
  54. 30 hours from what I figure.  For some reason, the response time is like 1200
  55. ms  from that site...the FTP throughput is worse than a 1200 baud modem!

  57. If you have, I'd like to arrange to have it E-Mailed to here.  The demo 
  58. expires in a few days, and I'd like to see it before even thinking about 
  59. sending away for the registered version.
